One payment of $19.99. From month three on, the pass costs less than Pro monthly, which is $29.97 for three months. A second pass adds 90 days to the end of the one you hold.

No card and no account are needed to start on the free plan. Every payment goes through Stripe and we never see your card number. A subscription cancels from your account page and keeps working to the end of the period you paid for; the Exam Pass and the question packs do not renew at all. There is a 14 day refund window, set out on the refund policy page.
You have a fixed number of evenings left and one reading list, so the only question worth asking is how much of your own material you can turn into questions before the date. Paying changes the models, not the checking.
What this site does that other generators do not: the quote from your own page under every question, and a second model that answers each question blind before you see it.
Nothing here changes the checks: one of the 19 sample questions asks "Which two variables are the primary determinants of cardiac output?", keys it to heart rate and stroke volume, and prints "Cardiac output is the product of heart rate and stroke volume." from page 1 under it, on the free plan and on every paid one.
The free plan does not use the priority models, and it runs the same two checks on 300 questions a month with an account and 60 as a guest. Two ways onto the priority models, the $19.99 Exam Pass and Pro at $9.99 a month, are below, next to what each one buys.

Every question in a pack is one verified question that passed both checks. Questions rejected by the verifier are not charged, and the questions in a pack are good for 12 months from the purchase.

Where your text goes
Passages of your document are sent to AI providers to write and check your questions. The free lane runs on a pool of open-weight models whose free tiers may use what is sent to them to improve their own models. The paid lanes run on providers that state they do not train on your text. If that difference matters for the material you are studying, it is a reason to pay rather than a footnote. The privacy policy names every provider on both lanes.

Questions about billing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Every account gets 300 verified questions a month at no cost, generated on a pool of open-weight models. A guest workspace, which needs no account, gets 60 a month. Uploads, grading, spaced review, exams and the tutor are included on the free plan.
What does verified mean?
A question is only kept if it cites verbatim quotes that the server finds on the page it names, and if a second model from a different family answers it correctly from those quotes alone. Questions that fail either check are thrown away before you ever see them.
What can I upload?
PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx) and plain text (.txt and .md) files, text you paste into the box, and a public web page by its address. A PowerPoint file is read one slide per slide and its questions cite slide numbers. Word files, text files, pasted text and web pages have no pages of their own, so they are cut into numbered sections and questions cite those. Scanned PDF pages go through optical character recognition first.
What is the difference between free and Pro?
The work is the same and the verification is the same. Pro runs your jobs on the priority models, which are stronger at long clinical vignettes and do not draw on the free lane's daily budget. Pro and the Exam Pass also carry the downloads, an Anki deck, a spreadsheet or a printable page, and an unlimited tutor, where the free plan answers 10 tutor questions a day. A question pack buys questions on the priority models and nothing else.
Can I get my questions out of the site?
On Pro or the Exam Pass, yes. Any exam or any whole document downloads as a tab separated Anki file with the fields Front, Back, Quote, Page and Tags, as a CSV for a spreadsheet, or as a printable page. Each question takes its answer, its source quote and its page number with it.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel in Account at any time. Your subscription keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. Nothing renews after that.
Do question packs expire?
Questions in a pack are valid for 12 months from purchase. They are not transferable between accounts.
Is tax included?
Prices are shown in US dollars. Any sales tax that applies is calculated at checkout, based on the billing address you give Stripe.
How do refunds work?
Every buyer, wherever they are, has 14 days from purchase to cancel and get their money back, with the one exception set out on the refund policy page.
How do I reach a human?
Use the form on the contact page, or email the support address printed there. The same person who builds the service answers it, usually within two business days.
