Delete your account

You can delete your MedUni Exam account yourself, from the website or from the app, and it takes effect at once. Nobody has to approve it and there is no waiting period.

How

1. Sign in and open Account.
2. Under Delete account, type your password, or the word DELETE if you only ever signed in with Google or Facebook, and press Delete my account.

A guest workspace

A guest workspace can be deleted the same way, at once: open Account, type DELETE under Delete this guest workspace, and press it. Left alone, a guest workspace loses its documents after 30 days with no activity, and the empty workspace is removed after that.

What is deleted

Your account, every document you uploaded and its stored file, every question written from it, your exams, attempts and grades, your review queue, your linked Google or Facebook sign-in, your sessions on every device, your usage counters, your rating of the site and any quote you left, your referral link and referral records, your exam share links with any first name on them, and the reports you sent and the students you blocked. A Pro subscription is canceled at Stripe first, so nothing renews.

A Pro subscription bought in the iOS app is billed by Apple, and deleting the account does not cancel it: Apple keeps billing until you cancel it in the subscription settings of your Apple Account, so cancel it there first. Apple keeps its own record of the purchase under its own terms.

What is kept

Records of payments, with no name or email on them, for six years, because tax law requires it. The customer record Stripe holds is kept by Stripe under its own terms. A message you sent through the feedback form is kept with your email removed.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@meduniexam.com from the address on the account and we delete it by hand within seven days.
