# Terms of service > The agreement covering accounts, uploads, acceptable use, subscriptions and renewals, question packs, refunds, liability and the English law it is under. The copies of this page in other languages are translations, for convenience. These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of MedUni Exam at meduniexam.com. MedUni Exam is operated by an individual trading as MedUni Exam, based in England. The postal address is Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27, United Kingdom. Using the service means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. ## 1\. The service MedUni Exam generates practice exam questions from documents you upload, verifies them against those documents, grades your answers and tracks what you have learned. It is a study tool. Questions are produced by automated systems and may contain mistakes despite the checks described on the [how it works](https://meduniexam.com/how-it-works.md) page. You are responsible for deciding what to rely on. ## 2\. No medical advice Nothing generated by the service is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and it must not be used to make decisions about the care of any person. It is exam practice built from material you supplied. ## 3\. Accounts You may try the service as a guest. A guest workspace is temporary: if you leave nothing in it, it is removed three days after it is created, and if it holds documents it stays until you delete them or ask us to remove them. Registering with an email address keeps your library, grades and review queue. You must be at least 16 years old, you must give an address you control, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at [support@meduniexam.com](mailto:support@meduniexam.com) if you believe someone else has access. ## 4\. What you upload You confirm that you have the right to upload each document and to have it processed for your own study. Do not upload material you are not allowed to copy, patient records or any other personal data about other people. You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, extract text from, send to the AI providers listed in the [privacy policy](https://meduniexam.com/privacy.md), and process your documents purely to provide the service to you. That license ends when you delete the document. We do not use your documents to train models and we do not publish them. Questions generated on the free plan run on third-party free tiers whose providers may use submitted content to improve their own models; the [privacy policy](https://meduniexam.com/privacy.md) sets out which providers and what that means. Paid plans run on interfaces whose providers state that submitted content is not used for training. ## 5\. Acceptable use - Do not share an account. One account is for one person. - Do not resell generated questions or present them as an original question bank. - Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to extract other users’ data. - Do not use automated clients to drive generation beyond normal personal study. - Do not upload malware or content that is unlawful in the United Kingdom. ## 6\. Plans, payment and renewal The free plan includes 300 verified questions a month. Paid options are a Pro subscription billed monthly or yearly, a 90 day Exam Pass bought once, and prepaid question packs. Prices are shown on the [pricing page](https://meduniexam.com/pricing.md) in US dollars; any sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Account. Canceling stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, access continues while the payment is retried; if it keeps failing the subscription ends. Pro and the Exam Pass are subject to fair use of 10,000 verified questions a month. Beyond that, generation falls back to your question pack if it has enough left for the job, then to the free allowance. We will tell you in the app before that happens rather than billing you extra. ## 7\. Question packs A question pack pays for verified questions generated on the priority models. Questions in a pack are deducted when a job is funded and the unused part is returned when a job produces fewer accepted questions than reserved. Questions in a pack are not money, are not transferable between accounts, cannot be exchanged for cash, and expire 12 months after purchase. Refunds are covered by the [refund policy](https://meduniexam.com/refund-policy.md). ## 8\. Availability and changes We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and we may add, alter or withdraw parts of the service. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, you may cancel and ask for a proportionate refund of the unused period. We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page, and material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect for existing subscribers. ## 9\. Suspension and termination You may stop using the service at any time. Deleting a document in your library removes its questions, exams and results. To close the account itself, use the delete account control on your account page, or the [delete account](https://meduniexam.com/delete-account.md) page; it takes effect at once. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. If we close a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period. ## 10\. Liability Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, the service is provided as is, we do not warrant that generated questions are accurate or fit for any particular exam, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including exam results, lost study time or lost data where you have not kept your own copies. ## 11\. Consumer rights If you are a consumer, you keep every right the law gives you, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing here takes those away. ## 12\. Law and disputes These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
