# Delete your account

> How to delete a MedUni Exam account yourself from the website or the app, what is removed the moment you do it, and the payment records tax law makes us keep.

You can delete your MedUni Exam account yourself, from the website or from the app, and it takes effect at once. Nobody has to approve it and there is no waiting period.

## How

1. Sign in and open [Account](https://meduniexam.com/#/account).
2. Under Delete account, type your password, or the word DELETE if you only ever signed in with Google or Facebook, and press Delete my account.

## What is deleted

Your account, every document you uploaded and its stored file, every question written from it, your exams, attempts and grades, your review queue, your linked Google or Facebook sign-in, your sessions on every device, your usage counters, your rating of the site and any quote you left, your referral link and referral records, and your exam share links with any first name on them. A Pro subscription is canceled at Stripe first, so nothing renews.

## What is kept

Records of payments, with no name or email on them, for six years, because tax law requires it. The customer record Stripe holds is kept by Stripe under its own terms. A message you sent through the feedback form is kept with your email removed.

## If you cannot sign in

Email [support@meduniexam.com](mailto:support@meduniexam.com) from the address on the account and we delete it by hand within seven days.
